Larry Pratt is a Woods Hole photographer and physical oceanographer who makes figurative photos set in the dunes, forests and tidal flats of Cape Cod. Over the past decade his work has evolved from beautiful landscape nudes to more abstract imagery combining elements of the figure with other natural curves and waveforms. His current work with dancers, often shot at night and with experimental lighting techniques, take this theme in new directions.
Pratt’s work has been exhibited nationally and is held in several collections, including that of the Griffin Museum of Photography.
